The Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) board is a provincial board which provides services and support for over 9000 Albertans. Barbara was an inaugural member of the board, which has an annual budget of over half a billion dollars. She was involved from 2006 to 2008, as both a member-at-large and part of the provincial appeals board.
